The 16 acre park includes a 4 field softball complex with lighted fields.  There is a picnic and grass area outside of the softball complex gate. 

DF Softball is committed to servicing 
the youth of the Sacramento community, Northern California and Nevada through our softball and baseball programs at Freedom Park.  We do not have an alcohol permit and do not serve beer at Freedom Park.

Relocation of the entrace to the west side, new parking area, 
shade covered areas and other improvements are projected in
the near future..

The McClellan Air Museum has relocated their 
airplanes to the 7 acre area west of the Complex

Staff & Fund Raisers
 DF Softball partners with select teams and
organizations to serve as staff for touranments
and league play. 

Our only sources of revenue are 
tournaments, leagues and  our snack bar. 
We need everybody's cooperation to help us keep 
Freedom Park in operation for our youth softball & baseball programs. 

Listed below are some rules regarding Freedom Park.

Ice Chests and Outside Food - No ice chests and outside food is allowed inside the gate of the softball complex.  One team ice chest is allowed with drinks for the team during the games.  We are committed to serving healthy food options and will be expanding our facilities and menu.

Gate Fee - a gate fee will charged at DF Softball tournaments.  There will be no gate fee for leagues.

We do not allow sunflower seeds or shelled nuts at Freedom Park.
The shells clog our drainage systems

No Pets - no dogs or pets are allowed inside the gate at Freedom Park except for legal guide dogs.

No Alcohol, Glass or Cans are allowed inside the gate.
Smoking is allowed only at designated areas

All teams will be required to submit proof of
Insurance at least 7 days prior to your first 
DF Softall Tournament or league game.

Team Insurance is available through USSSA
